DIRECTOR, JOURNALIST Mel spent seven years reporting from Afghanistan, often on the frontline, entrenching herself within the military and local communities all over the country. She is passionate about getting to the heart of the story and maintains one of her most interesting experiences to date was spending five nights on the roof of a police station in a Taliban-controlled valley.

SENIOR STRATEGIST Illisa enjoyed a twelve-year career at several integrated agencies before bringing her wealth of insight gathering and planning experience to Intrepid TV. At the forefront of our strategic endeavours, Illisa has the aptitude for problem solving and understanding clients’ needs, which helps shape our business plans and operational procedures. A great bonus, she is also skilled in the Adobe CC suite which has bolstered our creative capabilities.

SNR MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST Jake has experience both home, abroad and in hostile environments. He has live front-of-camera ‘breaking news’ experience. He has reported from Afghanistan, the Baltic nations and South East Asia and worked as a correspondent for London Live – London’s dedicated TV channel. He is currently based in Riga, Latvia and in Bangkok, Thailand.

SNR MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST Jack Somerville is a photographer and video journalist with over 2 years experience filming all over Afghanistan, as well as working as a freelance cameraman in the UK beforehand. He is currently based in Namibia where he works with the San bushman tribe, documenting their unique lifestyle and raising money for their healthcare.

SNR MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST Rob Kunzig is a multimedia journalist with experience in video, print and still photography. Before joining Intrepid, he was a staff photographer covering U.S. politics for Morning Consult. He has bylines in The Atlantic, Politico Magazine and Atlas Obscura, though he's most passionate about covering military affairs. Rob also serves as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

SNR MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST Laurence started his film making career as a reporter for a local news site in his native Kent before moving to work in Afghanistan in 2010. He has since spent his time running television and radio recruitment campaigns for the Afghan National Army, alongside producing several documentaries on the Afghan Special Forces. He is currently working for Intrepid TV as a video journalist supplying stories for NATO TV.

MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST A super talented content producer with the ability to engage younger audiences and help us keep up with industry trends. Krista's comfortable on both sides of the camera and has experience working in other creative fields such as dance and theatre.

CAMERAMAN, EDITOR William recently finished filming a National Geographic series on the US Marines in Helmand. Very few can hold a camera steady during a firefight like William Bonnett. Greatly experienced in ENG, EFP, documentary and news. He’s filmed around the world, shooting in countries such as South Africa, India and Kosovo. William filmed in Libya for five months during the Revolution and he’s spent four years working in Afghanistan.

PHOTOGRAPHER, CAMERAMAN Miks started off in fashion photography before moving to Intrepid TV. He’s got quite the eye for a great shot and makes for an excellent cameraman also. He says his best experience to date was covering NATO’s biggest exercise in more than a decade last year involving 40,000 troops.

GRAPHICS, ANIMATION, EDITOR Josh is an award-winning director and animator. He served with the British Parachute Regiment in Iraq in 2005. While there, he filmed a documentary which was shown on the BBC. He went to Afghanistan shortly afterwards and lived there as a video-journalist for almost three years producing content for NATOChannel TV. Josh also works at Ravensbourne, a higher education institute in London, where he teaches degree level filmmaking and documentary production.

CAMERAMAN, PRODUCER Hubert is a photographer and video journalist. As a VJ, he worked for top commercial televisions in Poland and in Brussels. He also worked for Thomson Reuters for nearly five years covering top stories in Poland. He has PhD in photography at from Film School in Lodz, Poland, where he is also a lecturer. He has exhibited his art work in Poland, France, UK, Germany, Russia and Malaysia. His images have been published in many books and magazines.
